Less distance, more space

The owners wanted to convert this old apartment into a luxury retreat for two adults and two kids. The hallway used to lead to three rooms and has now been transformed into an area that actually belongs to the living room and leads to the children’s room. By using an original and a-typical approach this old apartment with too much circulation space was turned into a luxurious loft, where each space is utilized optimally. The distance between the main residence and the retreat is easily covered, like going from one home to another. The new interior also minimizes the indoor distance and gives more importance to space; a clever response to the wishes of the clients who enjoy staying here.
