Remembrance of things past

From the orangery to the kitchen and into the living room you can navigate between the owner’s antique collection. The stone of this magnificent building was removed and the building itself was modernized, without touching its genuine tranquility and warmth, the homely atmosphere of the castle. There are four levels. The basement has retained its purpose of relaxation. The former wine cellars have been reinvented as an impressive swimming pool where one can relax. The basement is connected to the living area on the first floor through an open corridor. The master suite is situated on the second floor, the guest rooms are located on the third floor. What connects these two levels is the wooden staircase giving access to two bedrooms from the library. It took one year to build the staircase, which is a stunning artisan performance.
