The nature of the architect

The nature of the architect

Some architects use their first draft as a starting point, an idea that initially stands apart from the project, but which is eventually integrated and puts the clients’ wishes in second place. Bart de Beule also likes to use his ideas as a starting point, but he is just as dedicated to his clients’ wishes. The owners of this house are passionate about their beautiful garden. The essence of the project is adding an orangery that is in harmony with the garden and the pond. The magnificently decorated orangery runs into a floating terrace that also serves as a dock for the rowboat. The rowboat serves as a relaxing means of transportation through the surrounding nature. Massangis, a beautiful, durable and rarely used natural stone, is used in the kitchen countertop. This is how Bart works, from the inside to the outside, from his clients’ wishes to the realization of these wishes.
