Bart de Beule is versatile without excessively stepping out of the box. What he does step out of is the crumbling mass production state of mind many architects work in. Thus the roots of this important side project stretch deep. In fact before Bart started his interior design course, he had already studied to become a furniture maker. He designed pieces of furniture, both traditional and ultra-modern, with a passion for artisan craftsmanship. The furniture range is characterized by its use of original materials and material combinations. The pieces of furniture are equipped with every imaginable technological gadget. In addition, each piece of furniture is first implemented in a digital environment before it is actually handmade, by commission and in a limited edition. Each piece can be given a fully personalized and individual style. And nothing is what it seems. Certain details will only be shared with the owner of the object.
